We are happy to help you with any questions or concerns you have. However, please read the FAQ below, as well as the "Important Instructions for those Booking Services" before contacting us.

I can't do the show. Can I get a refund or transfer?

Because we must hire our staff and commit to them well in advance of each event, and because this is based on the number of people booked, deposits are non-refundable.  Deposits are transferable to another UFE event during the same year until 30 days in advance of the event. After that time, deposits are non-transferable.

COVID-19 Exception: If any UFE show is cancelled, or the date is rescheduled and the competitor can no longer compete on the new date, we will refund your deposit.

How far in advance of the show do I need to book my services?

We recommend booking as soon as you possible. Hair and makeup bookings will close once we have received the maximum number of bookings we can take for a show and have filled up all of our staff - so for a larger show, we usually stop accepting bookings 1-2 weeks before the show. It is best to book early to avoid disappointment! This is only for hair and makeup; bookings for tanning can be done up until Wednesday before the show.

Why use UFE Beauty over another provider?

UFE Beauty is the only authorized service provider allowed to provide services directly within the host hotel. Services are provided in a hotel meeting room for convenience. The UFE Beauty team is comprised of artists and stylists that are experts in their craft.  Moreover, in most cases they have been working at UFE events and within the fitness/bodybuilding competition industry for several years and are aware of exactly what the best look is for each category and what the judges like. You work so hard to bring your best to the stage. Don't leave this final piece up to chance!

Which payment methods does UFE Beauty accept?

UFE Beauty will accept credit card, PayPal and e-transfer for deposits (50%).  We only accept cash for the balance of payment (50%) which is paid on Friday before the event. This avoids issues of poor internet connection, technical issues, NSF issues, etc.

How does payment work?

When booking your services, you must provide a non-refundable 50% deposit during registration.  Final payment will be made on the Friday before the event in cash.  Services will not be provided unless payment is received in full prior to service performance.

Does tanning include touch-ups?

Yes it does.  Touch-ups are done before the morning show.

In addition, tanning services include Bikini Bite for women and oil application for men and women. Please note, only UFE Beauty may apply Dream Tan at the event.

Do makeup and hair services include touch-ups?

No - UFE Beauty uses well trained artists and stylists who use high quality products so there is typically no need for touch-ups of hair and makeup before the show starts.  Stylists and makeup artists will not be backstage throughout the show day, so we recommend that you do have lip gloss on hand that can be reapplied when necessary.

Do you provide lashes when I book makeup services?

Yes we do.  You also have the option to bring your own lashes to apply should you wish.

When I book hair services, will you put in extensions if I bring them?

Yes we will (however, extensions must be clip-in - no halo or wire extensions). Please indicate in your booking if you will have hair extensions inputted. Hair extensions need to be brought to your Friday tanning appointment and must be washed and brushed
